According to the Bible, prophets like Elijah, Jeremiah, and Ezekiel heard the voice of God. In the streets of Capernaum, Jericho, and Jerusalem, followers of Jesus heard Him say that He spoke not only on His own behalf, but also on behalf of the Father in heaven who sent Him.
