On a Saturday morning, while travelling to a church camp, the Slaight family van was hit head on by a car travelling at over 90 miles per hour. Parents Jim and Janet were severely injured as was their 6-year-old daughter Hayley. Eight-year-old Hannah, and Joseph, age 5, lay paralyzed from the waist down. Their youngest daughter, 4 year-old Hope, died at the scene. For people of faith, this tragedy raises some serious questions about God. Author, artist, and public speaker Joni Eareckson Tada explores the goodness of God in the shadows of suffering.
